He is a world traveller ,a motor racer and a DJ in Czech republic. Jiri has a registered private Endownment fund in Czech Republic known as One More Day for Children Endowment fund which fundraises to give life to some of the foundation`s Objectives. The fund is the main donor to One More Day for Children foundation Kenya and he works as an ambasondor for the Czech sponsors and donors,forcing him to frequently fly in and out of Kenya for monitoring purposes. He has worked very hard to secure sponsorship for most of the rescued children under the Education and Skills Sponsorship program and other projects. Jiri heads a team of volunteers in Czech republic who helps him to cordinate the Endownment Fund activities between czech republic and Kenya.
Dr. Gathogo is a foundinding member and Vice President of One More Day for Children Foundation. She serves the Foundation as the Executive Director and the team leader. She hold a Doctorate Degree in Humanity from Dominion University in Ghana,A Master and Bachelor Degrees in Development Studies from the Management University of Africa ,Higher Diploma in Social work from the Kenya School of Government (KSG) and Guidance and counselling from the University of Nairobi among others. She also holds many professional certificates and she is a trainer and consultant in child Protection,Gendeer and GBV,Development and Adolescents and Youth Sexual Reproductive Heath rights. She is a celebrated Kenyan Hero(SHUJAA AWARD) and Equality Champion(USAWA AWARD) by the National Gender and Equality Commission(NGEC). Dr. Hellen is a self-driven, women and children's rights crusader committed towards providing an array of services that improve the quality of life and subjective well-being of individuals, families, and communities through policy formulation, community organizing, direct practice, crisis intervention. Dr. Gathogo serves in Various Government boards and committees through appointments eg. Judiciary ,as a member of Court Users Committee in both High Court and Law Courts,Chairman Socio=Economic committee of the Laikipia Gender Technical working Group, chairman School Infrastructure Committee Doldol High School among others gazetted member of the Laikipia Health services Board,County Government of Laikipia.

Through the appointed by the President of Kenya, Praxedes is a commissioner in independent policing oversight authority(IPOA).A celebrated Senior Kenyan Lawyer who served in various law courts in Kenya. Hold an Honorary Doctorate Degree for her outstanding public service work. Dr. Praxedes is experienced in Corporate Governance and committed to Public Service. A demonstrated history of working in Election Management, Legislative Reform, Forest Management and Administration of Justice. Skilled in Legal Audit, Negotiation, Mediation, Elections, Dispute Resolution, Management, Corporate Secretarial duties and Legal Advisory. She holds a dregree in Law from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Law in Kenya School of Law. She posesses strong Public Relations and Diplomacy skills, with a Masters in Women’s Law from University of Zimbabwe. Currently pursuing an Masters Degree in Foreign Policy and Diplomacy. Praxedes has invested her time,skills and resources in helping Women,Girls and Children and especially under One More Day for Children Foundation and FIDA. Elizabeth is a trained lawyer from the University of Nairobi,Management Degree from Kenyatta University and Masters in Policy and Administration from Kenyatta University. Elizabeth has long work experience in civil societies,She is a Rotarian from Rotary Club of Kirinyaga currently serving as the Regional Coordinator. She has experience also in corporate world and public sector and is serving in various Boards as a member and technical support provider to Boards in the Civil Societies,Private and Public Sector. She is also a proffessional Trainer and consults in areas of Legislative affairs, Child Protection,Corporate Governance,Strategic management and Leadership among others. She is a bilogical mother of one child and a guardian to many children in Kenya.

He is a professional in the Public Administration,Management and Leasership. Amos is a civil servant,working at the Ministry of interior and National Administration,serving the National Government in the position of National Government Administrative Officer,and currently serving as the County commissioner. In 2021,he was awarded by the retired president Uhuru Kenyatta with the Moran of the order of the burning spear(MBS). OMDCF started when he was serving Laikipia County as the Deputy County Commissioner and he joined the founding team,and worked hard to secure the Land where the Safe House is establishd,in Doldol.
George is an experienced health systems specialist with a medical background in clinical medicine & surgery with 23 years of service in public health settings and leadership. 18 years of experience in public health leadership and innovation for improved health outcomes. Wealth of experience working with communities and vast collaborative experience working with National MOH, stakeholders and agencies in the HIV, PMTCT, RH and overall health system improvement. Extensive skills in leadership, communication, advocacy working in a complex devolved health system environment, mentorship and capacity building while maintaining a productive working relationship with stakeholders at all levels of the health system. Him together with Dr. Kurgat cordinates Health program,one of the foundation`s program.

Mary, aka Wendy has been with us since the inception of the Safe House. she is a passionate Safe House Project Manager, a program and flagship project under One More Day for Children (OMDC) in Laikipia North, Laikipia County, Kenya. As the shelter manager, based in Laikipia North where the project is, she is in charge of all operations within the safe house and within the sub county including staff working at the shelter. As such, working closely with the Executive Director, she receives the rescued girls escaping from Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), child marriage, and other forms of gender-based violence, supervises IGA activities and mobilizes resources that ensures the shelter provides protection, good accommodation, education, and psychosocial. As a 2025 Mandela Washington Fellow, she brings over ten years of experience in project management and grassroots advocacy, with a strong commitment to creating safe, empowering spaces where every girl can thrive. She is a holder of Bachelors of business Management (Project Management options) from the Methodist University, Certificate in hospitality industry from Ujima foundation and various certificates on child protection. She is also a trainer in Mental Health, and Child Protection, and holds a recognition award from the Anti-FGM Board Kenya
